How to view old map file with latest Gmapcatcher? #365

Hello~
I used old version Gmapcatcher to download Google Maps.
Since the latest Gmapcatcher will not support Google, I would like to know how
can I use the lastest Gmapcatcher to use the downloaded Google Maps.
If it's impossible, then I will stay at old versions.
Thanks a lot.

Nothing is impossible in the digital world...
The real question is: Can you do it?
What have you tried? Do you know the location of the map tiles?

My downloaded Google Maps are in the folder "C:\Users\****\.googlemaps".
Will the latest Gmapcatcher recognize this folder?

not as is.
the new one uses %userProfile%\.GMapCatcher
and the structure is slightly different
Nothing to complex! just the top level folders, I'm sure you can figure it out.

I see. Now I install 0.8.0.1, and I change the custom directory. Then I can
browse it. Thanks~
And I have another question. Is there any option for changing the language? In
0.7.5.0 there is in setting tab, but none in version 0.8.0.1.

The language on the settings it was only for google maps, since google asked to
stop showing their map we removed that option from the interface.
but in case you are interested it still available in the config file:
%userProfile%\.GMapCatcher\gmapcatcher.conf

I'm closing this ticket anything else just email me directly - heldersepu (at)
