font type without shadow effect. #370

I try to replace the front which is display on the map. And specialy to remove 
the dark shadow. I would like a normal font with no effect. 
I know that i can change the size with gmapconf but there is no option to 
remove the shadow. May be it s come from the gtk library Pango, but i m sure it 
is possible to have a normal font display. Thanks for your help.
