"Offline map viewer has stopped working" whilst exporting map #430

What steps will reproduce the problem?
 1. Selecting a large area with zoom -2
 2. Pressing export

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
A .png image of the selected area should be exported but an error message shows 
up saying that "Offline map viewer has stopped working" but I am using the 
program in with Offline unchecked.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest version of gmapcatcher on Windows 8.1

Please provide any additional information below.
This feature works with small areas but I wish to have a large area exported. 
Is this possible?

Yes the export function was never tested thoroughly on large areas.

My recommendation do not export large areas, the resulting file will be huge.
