• I'd love to see a banner that just states data is encrypted at rest or something, just for my own comfort. I know it's over-engineering perhaps
• for passive investments, might be good to have a page to show an example of how to look at a company's financials and get the info for current assets, shares issued, etc
• I'd consider minimizing the Dividends section, most accounts like Schwab or Robinhood will just add dividends to your net amount so it's usually included by default. Or re-word the message to say: "If for any reason dividends you received are not included in your checking/saving accounts then please list here."
• It may be interesting to have folks flow through screens (i.e. back/next) and show the summary as a pop up. Idk, I feel that mentally it's nice to press a button and see progress. Just a thought

• The rental one is quite interesting, I've thought this through quite a bit. I've been wondering what the ruling is on the initial downpayment + built up equity. Because it's not necessarily an illiquid asset that can't be sold. That money whether put in the market or on a down payment, generates a return (if a rental). Maybe there should be an option to record the market value * ownership share since stocks are included too.
• The "Own any businesses" might be more helpful with an example. Like if one is a silent partner in an LLC then it should be included, it might be glossed over.
• For the email I really don't like not being able to enter an email and just having it sent, on Mac it opens up the Mail app which I don't have setup.
• If I skip the email and go to summary, I would've liked to see the breakdown of the summary along with the total net assets
• I like the ability to add in the box but it'd be nice to have a more tabular view to record what an adjustment is for so that if someone looks back at it they'll know what the adjustment was done for.

For 401k I should add that the cash approach is the opinion of AMJA and non-Maliki madhabs. We could allow the user to select Approach #1 or Approach #2 like Bradord does in his book.

I also think we could actually break out Special Financial Accounts into another turbotax option selector (401k, IRA, HSA, FSA, 529, ESA, etc.) to reduce the content amount.

We also need to find a way to specify this idea "don't include this if it's already in your checking/savings" at a higher level in the calculator because it's re-written so many times.

We could make the rental equity an option for people too if they want, but I haven't found any scholar or source yet saying you need to do that... if you can show me one, I'm for it. The current logic is that the property is a tool of the trade, so you don't pay Zakat on it (plus it isn't sitting cash/inventory like in the CRI passive investments - it's generating economic value)

I HATE THE MAC EMAIL SENDING TOO! My brother didn't have it setup also.
