We could display the title of any open project somewhere in the emacs UI. One place would be the window titlebar. This has nice integration with window-changers in some desktops, and it's a generally under-used space. Another option is in the status bar of any frame showing a file from the project. This eats up valuable real-estate, but might be more natural. Think about this.
