answers exc sesh 18 #20

can the answers to exc session 18 be uploaded before the weekend?

Also: i can't even get the example running in jupyter notebook on windows 10. Nothing happens, except for that the kernel gets stuck.

Sorry, went all offline over the weekend. I'll try to put some solutions up soon.

I think multiple PC users had the same problem with multiprocessing as you did. It belongs in the class "computer problems" though, and that's extremely hard for anyone but you to solve. I don't know what's causing it but I'm guessing it's pretty user-specific and possible to figure out if you do a bit of Googling on your computer specs + "multiprocessing kernel hangs" or something like that.
