Hi there, you are referring to last year's reading list. I am making a group at Datacamp for this course for those of you are who are still interested in the opportunity to learn there. I will post soon on the intranet with a link.
Do we have an ETA on this? :)
I have sent out an invitation via KU Absalon.

Hi , I followed the link for the DataCamp group and I registered. However, I do not have access to the premium content of DataCamp. Thereby, I can do only the first week of lectures in Python which are quite basic.
Is that normal or I did something wrong when I was following the link?
I would like to know about the above as well. @abjer , do you know how we access the premium version? Or did you just enter a future date when signing up? :)
Andreas is currently on paternity leave, so he might not see this issue. I'm not entirely sure why you would expect to have access to the premium content? I believe it was available when the course ran last summer, but i don't think it is available this year (you have been given assignment 0 instead).
In any case, while you wait for a better answer here are some other resources and tips:
Project Euler is a collection of math problems that are best solved with a computer.
Find something you like on pythonprogramming and code it up as you follow the tutorial.
Kaggle competitions are good if you already have a good grasp of python and want to improve your ML skills.
Advent of Code is of course over for 2018, but the problems are still up. Some of these are quite tricky.
/r/dailyprogrammer is full of programming challenges of varying difficulty.
Do your own small project. Get some data from somewhere like Our World In Data or Opportunity Insights and start exploring it. Then simply [get stuck -> google -> repeat] until you have learned something.
Another great learning source is the site Medium. You can find a lot of articles related to Python.
Sometimes, it can also be useful to look through the #python tag on twitter.
@IAmAndreasSK Did you sign up with a KU mail? (i.e. @ku.dk or @alumni.ku.dk) I think this is a requirement.
@abjer , yes. I contacted them, and this is what they said:
Please be advised that you have the academic group which will start 2019-08-12 so you cannot enroll in the individual plan.
Alright, I guess it will open up on Monday then.
