If such a feature is added, then it is just as well that all persistent state is reset, then this feature can also be used for reconfiguring the digitar with a new Jira user.
Sounds good, we do need to add a "fallback" reset of some kind as well, like when the digitar can not connect to the network. When that happens it will not go to sleep and therefore drain the battery.
For testing it is useful to be able to reset state so that WiFi credentials are forgotten. At the moment this is done by altering the firmware temporarily and adding a reset call in the setup.
A better approach would be to either have an extra button (maybe within the enclosure), or allow a reset to be scheduled from the cloud.
