As @QuintinWillison noticed, Ably pub.dev example only contains main class from the example/main.dart file, which isn't too helpful for the users. According to the official pub.dev guidelines, ce can provide a custom markdown file to define usage examples: https://dart.dev/tools/pub/package-layout#examples. It would be good to update this to include actual usage examples
