How does polyglot identify NER for multi language #154

Hi, I wanted to know that how does polyglot identify Name entity for multi languages. Do they make specific rules for different languages or do they use the pos tags to get name entities or is there some other way to identify name entities.

I was wondering if there is any documentation for same.
