@IdeoG Based on a handful of forks google/cld3 that include Python bindings, I've created a standalone repository:

https://github.com/bsolomon1124/pycld3

The installation requires the Protobuf compiler and headers.

Please don't take this as a claim that cld3 is better than cld2, or vice versa 😉 .
