i used a vpn and removed virustotal from the source code and it worked
how?
https://github.com/aboul3la/Sublist3r/issues/343 this shows how to fix the virustotal issue. i'm just going to clone the repo open the sublist3r.py file in vim (or any other ide) and remove the VirusTotal
class along with it's appearances in any other enums.
Update: this didn't fix it for me
however this repo works https://github.com/huntergregal/Sublist3r
Update 2: upon further inspection of the two repositories, line 158 is the difference maker.
The line appears as below in huntergregal's repo. I'm guessing its for linux users:
'User-Agent': 'Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:105.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/105.0',
It appears as below in aboul3la's repo:
'User-Agent': 'Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/58.0.3029.110 Safari/537.36',
This WORKS if you replace aboul3la's line with hungergregals line.
My best guess is that it is an operating system differentiator of some sort.
@pgiovanni Thanks for the update!
hey I did the same as @pgiovanni said but it is still not working for me and showing no results I am running wsl for ubuntu
Hello,
the solution is so simple
you can add -b
that's BRUTEFORCE if don't want to change any code. but you must wait a more longer
Alternatively, if want to go in advance you can go to
/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/sublist3r.py
if you installing using a package manager like APT
then, delete all properties inside class Virustotal(enumratorBaseThreaded)
:
Note: doesn't matter what Installation method you use. It works for me although installation from Docker
