Define the problem

In late 2018, seekingalpha.com ran a short-lived, "circumvention ad" proof-of-concept. The function atob was blocked by ABP Filters and the project was quickly abandoned. Seeking Alpha has not engaged in any circumvention ads since January 2019, however the block has remained in place.

A recent upgrade to a 3rd-party chat application, Rocket.Chat, introduced usage of the atob function. With that function disabled, the application fails to load. There are no ads of any kind within the chat software.
