Describe the bug

with codes "sudo apt update" and "sudo apt-get-update onedrive do not update. when i run "onedrive --synchronize" I obtain

Now as to your actual issue

onedrive v2.4.23-8-g5b14157

It appears that at some point with you using this client you have installed the client from source, rather than from the distribution package for your system.

As you are running Ubuntu, you should have installed the client following the correct instructions as detailed here:

which then points you at this Installation of 'onedrive' package on Debian and Ubuntu

To resolve your issue:

  1. Uninstall your manually compiled application version. Follow these instructions Uninstalling the client if installed and built from source
  2. Install the correct Ubuntu package for your platform following Installation of 'onedrive' package on Debian and Ubuntu
