I'm not really seeing an upside to keeping this around anymore. The ImageReader version of the grabber seems to run just as reliably now, and works with low overhead. The OGL version was built on some code I discovered elsewhere and that I admittedly do not understand very well, so I'm not sure how much support I can provide there if needed. Additionally it creates double the work when adding new features & behavior.
If there is an outcry resulting from the change we can consider adding it back, but I don't anticipate that reaction.
