Hi,
cycleway:left=opposite_lane
(see case M1 on https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Bicycle) should be a valid tagging AFAIK but it is indeed not yet taken into account by the trekking profile. It is cycleway:left=opposite
which is not a valid tagging.
I started to work on enhancing this some time ago (https://github.com/abrensch/brouter/pull/123) but I definitely need to find some time to work on this again and have something mergeable. Any help on this is welcome if you want :)
Thanks to CyclOSM.org I add to many ways the right/left precision in Paris area. This is a big issue for me, I’ll try to have a look.
Very nice router, indeed! Toying around, brouter does not ride contra one-way streets with cycleway:left=opposite_lane - the tag seems rare though, probably even non-standard?
Noticed here c.f. https://brouter.de/brouter-web/#map=17/47.27171/11.40888/osm-mapnik-german_style&lonlats=11.408948,47.272496;11.406202,47.271222
There are 4500 worldwide - https://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/tags/cycleway:left=opposite_lane
PS: Actually there is no lane there at all and I changed the tag, so next week the sample will not show the behaviour of now.
