Failed import tiff3D #31

Open alecrimi opened 6 years ago

alecrimi commented 6 years ago

We are using TeraStitcher 1.10.12 with QT 5.2.1. We are using the precompiled binary for Windows 7, on a achine with Windows 10. We managed to make it work with series of 2D Tiff. However, when we use multipage Tiff. We get the following error: capture_ts Also the software appears to have only the following I/O plugins: "Tiff2D, IMS_HDF, dcmig, tiff3D, multiview". when using the merge there seems to be more plugins.

The problem is present also in the command line version 1.10.11 and on Linux tera2

Alessandro, sorry for the delay, but I was out of office for a few days. The problem is that your input data do not match for some reason the conditions needed to import sparse datasets. Checking what is wrong is very difficult without the dataset.

I can try with some questions and, based on your answers, I can try to give more help.

  1. Is your dataset really sparse?
  2. Is your first tile ([0,0]) not empty (from your image it looks not empty, but it is better to check)
  3. Do the names of the multipage tiffs code their Z position coherently with the voxel size and the naming conventions required by TeraStitcher?

It seems that you are using the 2-level hierarchy of folders to import the data set. In case you have generated an import xml file externally, please send it to me.

Consider that if I could download your dataset I can easily find what is wrong. I do not now if this is possible and what large it is, but if it were possible it would be the simplest way to solve the problem.

Let me know these information. Best.

Hi, I am having the exact same problem. Could you please tell me how it was fixed? Or can I send you my data so that you can look at it? Thank you so much.

I did not have replay after my comment from alecrimi. I can only repeat the same idea. To attempt a hypothesis I need detailed information about:
