You can install the built RPMs by following these steps:

sudo yum install -y dnf-plugins-core on RHEL 8
sudo dnf install -y dnf-plugins-core on Fedora
dnf copr enable packit/abrt-gnome-abrt-277
And now you can install the packages.

Please note that the RPMs should be used only in a testing environment.

Looks good to me. Just a side question: is there a specific reason why we don't keep a changelog (be it in the .spec or elsewhere) with gnome-abrt? I already noticed it when doing the previous release.

Off the top of my head, there probably isn’t. I’m opposed to upstream spec files having changelogs, because that’s a medium for downstreams.

I can add something basic like in reportd for now: https://github.com/abrt/reportd/blob/master/NEWS.

Okay, so I think I’ll look deeper into https://github.com/semantic-release/semantic-release and how we can leverage automation.
