I try updating vqmod from 1.01 to the latest version

i get the following error at admin

Notice: Undefined property: MySQL::$connection in
/home/jwwwakik/public_html/vqmod/vqcache/vq2-system_database_mysql.php on line
38

Warning: mysql_query() expects parameter 2 to be resource, null given in
/home/jwwwakik/public_html/vqmod/vqcache/vq2-system_database_mysql.php on line
38

I tried replacing the new vqmod files with the backup I have and I am getting
the following

Fatal error: Call to undefined method VQMod::bootup() in
/home/jwwwakik/public_html/admin/index.php on line 16

please help, only my homepage is up and the rest is down.

my email is wzch25@gmail.com

thank you

I had a similar problem and when I removed vqmod everthing then worked
perfectly ..so yea it has something to do with vqmod.

Right, because an XML file you'd had installed with vQMod was screwing it up.
vQmod works just fine

So what your saying is it did have something to do with vqmod... I'm just
saying you could be a little more helpful to people if they have problem and
have no one to help them.

No... You need to understand there are two "VQMods". There is the VQMod system
(Which is what this site is for and so is this ticket system) and then there
are XML files that you use with vQMod that are third party and not to do with
us. Your issue was the latter (hence the first message). Also, if you want
help, being a sarcastic dick in your comments is going to get you nowhere. I
mean you could have said "Can you tell me what it might be?" - you know, a bit
of civility. When you act like an asshole you get treated like an asshole.
Simple as that

wzc...@gmail.com wasn't a "sarcastic dick" and you offered him no help at all you just replied with "Nothing to do with vQmod". WHICH it clearly is hes probably went off thinking this opencart is broken or something when you could have directed him to the correct place to ask this question or tell him its to do with the xml files hes install.

Just saying.... and I was only being a sarcastic dick cause you answered
wzc...@gmail.com like a stuck up arsehole.

Like a stuck up arsehole? it was a brief comment to let him know the problem
didn't lie with vQmod. Stop trolling

You obviously knew more than "Nothing to do with vQmod" and could have provided
more assistance to the person who asked the question.

I am not "trolling" I googled a similar problem and came around your useless
reply to this person who obviously was in desperate need of help and as are
other people who come around this.

Pull your head out of your arse ...your gonna argue and argue with me instead
of just sharing a bit of your knowledge with wzc...@gmail.com

Again - you're just assuming. I actually e-mailed Alex (wzch) on the day that
he had this issue with more information. http://screencast.com/t/6T3V3N8pM - So
yeah I re-itereated the point on here that it wasn't to do with vQmod. Get
fucked

Fair enough I take it back, Would have been nice to see the solution on here
just and from what I could see it looked as if you didn't help him much.
