currently reordering the status messages is kind of a chaotic process, first you need to remember what is in which angle, then the order they are in, while also having the other status messages in the way
this new system makes it way more simple and intuitive, without the need of remembering what is where. this is how it would look like:
basically in the middle you have all the status messages that are not currently used, you can drag them wherever you want in whatever corner you desire. once placed in the corner it will either display as it would in game or just show the "replay status" or "cheat indicator", etc... text wherever it was placed
opacity, font and scale will either always remain there where they are now or above the red rectangle that you can see in the image above.
additional options like, for example, show unit, total clicks, speedhack compliant, etc..., will be a sub menu of the given status message, either with the usual triangle at the end of the box as we have been used to for years, or any new system that may fit better this overhaul
clearly when you place the messages in the corners they'll snap together like they do now, if you make it like "don't align icons to grid" on a desktop, that would be chaos
