this has been happening for a really long time but i've always forgot to report it
scenario: you are any gamemode, let's say cube, on a set of blocks that is moving on the y axis, let's say up. you place a checkpoint during the elevator. now what happens is that when respawning, the cube will launch up or something else would happen, something that isn't simply respawning on the platform. with specific setups you can get the gamemode to literally teleport up or down and just die, or survive if there's nothing in the way
if i recall this is actually a known bug in the mobile version of the game but i'm not really sure about this, but on pc it happens because of tps bypass. if you have tps bypass and practice bug fix enabled, it will happen, no matter the tps you set, it will ALWAYS happen, making it impossible to place checkpoints on any moving part
edit: so uhm... let's say it's random, i've been testing and apparently this also happens with both fps and tps off
edit edit: this literally happens even with practice bug fix off
to better understand this here's the video where apparently the recorder decided to overlap the entire song over the footage
