More Icons #737

I might just be being stupid and something like this already exists, or is being planned, but I think something that automatically lets the game have more slots for icons than default would be nice. (Also, I'm pretty sure there's already a mod for this.) This would be good for texture packs that have more icons than the game would normally have.

Okay, I just want to say that the mod is really buggy and crashes half of the time, so having it in Megahack would be nice.

I'm going to reopen this because I do feel it would make either a good in-built feature or an officially produced extension.

the mod is really buggy and crashes half of the time

The game crashes only because it's trying to find an icon in the plist that doesnt exist, a second version of it included in a mod pack prevents this by not allowing you to increase the icon values until they're in the plist, it also auto detects so it completely removes the need of increasing the value manually
