Maybe there can be a separate feature to remove the imprints on pads. If you don't know what I am talking about, here it is 20220604164425_1

the game's low detail mode does that but also removes the particles you see around in case that's what you need, display label, low detail mode or settings, help, low detail mode

I'm not sure how this would be cleanly separated out into a feature - it's one of many possible particle effects one may wish to toggle. I imagine something akin to Optifine's particles menu with an entry for toggling EVERY particle effect individually could be cool though.
