Widget no longer supports scrolling, since KitKat update

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.since the kikat update on my Nexus 4 I can no longer see agenda events while 
scrollable support is turned on.
2. If I turn off scrollable widget then I can see the events fine, but not too 
far ahead since I cannot scroll
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I see a blank window with just the heading off today's date

What Android OS are you using? Which version of Agenda Widget
Agenda widget 2.1.25
Android KiKat 4.4.2

Please provide any additional information below.
Please attach a log file attachment if possible in the case of force
closes.
Please add a label for the category of error (e.g. if dates are showing
incorrectly please choose "DateFormat"

Disabling scrolling definitely helps as a temporary workaround. But having 
scrolling capabilities is key. -- If it helps apparently a new scrolling API 
was introduced in ICS and likely the old finally got obsoleted in KitKat.

It's been three months.
Can you please fix this.
Your app is by far the best agenda widget.  I'd really like to have my 
scrolling capability back.

I read a comment on your forum that there is a fixed version 2.1.28, but that 
it's not super stable:

Can you please update this bug report with a status and plan for distributing a

Just upgraded Verizon Razr XD to KitKat 4.4.2 and widget blank unless scrolling 
unchecked.  Widget kind of useless on busy days (which most are).

Luckily, there are some alternatives now: aCalendar (which I have always used 
as the default calendar app anyway) has a similar widget now. Someone in the 
comments in Play store mentioned Business Calendar.
The alternatives are not as flexible as Agenda Widget, but good enough.
