Which Google API and version (e.g. Google Tasks API version 1)?
 Google Play Android Developer API v1.1

What should the sample demonstrate (e.g. using OAuth2, using a specific
feature of that API)?
Whatever Auth works with it (I think only the web one does?) and 
androidpublisher.inapppurchases.get

Platform (e.g. Windows, Mono, Silverlight, WP7)?
Windows

External references, such as API reference guide?

Please provide any additional information below.
Trying to verify purchases on a c# server.  Read a lot but still not sure how 
to get it working.
