The new IMAGE data will have new references. These need to be updated in the documentation and in the docstrings. However, this is waiting on the publication of a manuscript currently in preparation.

The new release candidate should be created when the manuscripts are submitted, but not released until the manuscripts are published and the data is available for the docs.
