WebM file corrupt on YouTube video #463

This Sonny James music video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QXzw0ElKAuw
will not play in my Firefox Web browser in Ubuntu 12.04.

The video freezes at the start with a stalled loading wheel.
I run HTML5 without Flash enabled, and also have videodownload helper installed.

Firefox natively supports webm, and I can play 3gp or webm in the Ubuntu Movie
Player. A Firefox add-on is supposed to let me play 3gp video, so I have
learned.

I posted a comment on the video describing the issue, and thought maybe the
video owner could repost. Otherwise I looked in Google and found another webm
bug report about a YouTube copyright school video with similar issue.

That brought me here, and I opened this new thread.

I was playing a Sonny James playlist that exhibited a few dead videos located
here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gu3RKVoFGUo&feature=bf_prev&list=AL94UKMTqg-9CaYR
lbqvwHnYX_ublE7GCl

It was behaving as above, and I just advanced to the next playlist entry.

#3 is unavailable (no webm), #4 has a bad webm.
#8 is unavailable #9 unavailable.
#10 has a bad webm,

I went back in and looked at the available file formats and when the video
locked up with the "loading" wheel stalled, the webm file could not be opened
locally after I downloaded it.

Is there anything you can do in other people's channels to fix faulty webm or
must the account holder re-up the video to solve the webm issue?

Unable to reproduce. WebM formats are available for the cited videos and, once
acquired (ahem), play successfully in up-to-date VLC, MPlayer, Gstreamer-based
players, FF, Chrome, and Opera on Ubuntu 12.04

Note that the playlist mentioned inserts an advertisement before #3 and appears
to overlay advertisements elsewhere. Can you disable any ad-blocking extensions
or proxies, and see if that clears it up for you? Thanks.

(Also note that YouTube watch pages contain a "Report a bug" footer link, which
is the most direct way to report issues with specific videos.
