Just to add--I don't know if the fact that there is no HERCI board or that it is on the "wrong" frequency is related to this problem. We may be able to try it with the actual satellite next week.
Thanks for reporting Burns. It should not relate to the frequency. Let me investigate. I might need a recording if I can't trigger this with an old Fox1D recording.

Ok. You have an IHU. If I gave you the firmware for it, can you hook the output to an FM tx so you have a bit more flexibility to test than a recording? I can give you a recording, but maybe not right away.

Yes, I can do it from an IHU if you tell me the build and remind me how you used to drive your FT817. That would need to be my TX. I think. Though I might also be able to use my sig generator.

Sending mail about software.
This was a bug. It will be fixed in v1.05m
Nope, sorry. Different problem, though. This time it crashed when I tried to turn off the server so it will not upload Fox-1D info. I unchecked 'upload to server' and then hit save and got the attached screenshot. I also tried running with Admin.
I can run it with a new properties file, but I can't save ANY change even to a fresh file.
Fixed in v1.05o
Looks good.
Running V1.05 L and then in the same room ran a test "flatsat" of Fox-1D (i.e. it has an old Tx on the Fox-1a frequency, no HERCI, not camera installed but does have Fox-1D software).
FoxTelem appears to receive 6 packets. Only 2 of them seem to be realtime data and none are min or max data, so I suppose the others are HERCI housekeeping data (despite there being no HERCI). At this point at least one task of FoxTelem crashes with the message attached. The Input tab still seems to be operating.
Apparently the database is corrupted because when I try to restart FoxTelem, I get this message:
The only way I have found to get it back is either to delete/rename the log directory and create a new empty one, or to delete the .FoxTelem directory and start from scratch.
