Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start six different windowapps
2. Move two to the second desktop
3. Switch back to the first desktop and try to open the first app in the
taskbar, a wrong window will occur

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Normally the correct window should be opened, instead a wrong window is opened

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.6 with openbox3 using different gtk apps

Please provide any additional information below.

this one is a bug in openbox3.
you can get the same bug with openbox + xfcepanel.

it's already reported
http://bugzilla.icculus.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3648

i'll keep it open just for memory.

thanks

I'm having a similar issue with tint2 0.7.1 and Openbox 3.4.7.2
I set my Firefox Download Manager to show on all desktops with this rc.xml
setting:

<application name="*" class="Firefox" role="Manager" type="normal">
      <desktop>all</desktop>
</application>

If I try to Minimize the window (clicking the task in panel) on first desktop it
works, but not on the others desktops (i have 4).
If I Minimize using Openbox Iconify it works on all desktops.

Tried with xfce4-panel and it works.

This is fixed in openbox and tint2, so I'm closing it...
