Clock font opacity problems #40

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
1 - The clock panel is being rendered with the proper background, but there
is no font showing. Changing the clock format string does change the size
of the clock panel, but it seems the font is being rendered to the same
color and opacity as the background.
2 - changing the clock font opacity results in some strange behavior in the
active/inactive tasks. I can't correlate it exactly but different settings
from 0-100 will result in either the active task background opacity
becoming the active font opacity, or the inactive task font opacity
becoming the inactive task background opacity. Either I couldn't read what
my active task was (solid block of light) or I couldn't read what the other
tasks were (sold blocks of dark)

I'm using the latest checkout, on debian lenny amd64, with fluxbox. I had
a checkout previously from June 2008, but it would segfault when I would
view certain jpg files in Gqview :/

looks like broken config file.

if you are using the SVN version, it's perhaps some change in the config file
format.
can you change your ~/.config/tint2rc with one in SVN tintrc01, tinrc02,...

I'll keep backward compatibility between stable release,
but not between unstable SVN.

I've tried each in turn, same problem.
I'm currently using the tintrc06 as my config.

No, tint2 does not produce any output to stderr.

I've just reproduced the problem on my laptop, which is ia32 architecture,
while my
desktop uses amd64.

I am using xorg 2:1.4.2-9 and fluxbox 1.0.0+deb1-8. - debian testing.

I have exactly the same problem on debian lenny. Nothing is presented in clock
region.
