Remove reference to ac_application and cc_application

Describe the bug

As part of #2184 the settings for ac_application and cc_application were consolidated into a single entry for ac_cc_application. There appears to be at least one remaining reference to the old values in a test file, but a search should be made for more.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. In the codebase do a search for ac_application and cc_application
2. Notice the remaining reference in SettingsTest
