Matt is a senior engineering leader at Docusign and a maintainer of the Accord Project since its founding. At Docusign, Matt leads the platform engineering team responsible for Agreement Data. Matt was the Director of Engineering at Clause where he led a team to build the first commercial implementation of the Accord Project stack, and influenced the design of key project strategic components such as Cicero, Ergo and the web-components repository.
Matt has a deep background in workflow, document and system automation from IBM as a consultant to hundreds of global companies. Matt holds several patents in this space.
Matt is the incumbent chair of the Accord Project Technical Steering Committee. Matt was the lead author of the 2024 AP Whitepaper and is the Docusign sponsor for the maintenance of the Concerto projects under AP.
