benchmark the impact of the minibatch size on the computation time
check the accumulator_t's processing type for different minibatch sizes (e.g. 32, 64, ..., 1024)
possible solution: extend apps/benchmark_models with -b 32[4, 1024] new minibatch size parameter

not actually needed: the impact on the computation time is significant only for very small models.
