I think it might be a good idea to have a new 'header' inside the Projects-Canvas component. The new header could have things like:
Files: see files related to that specific project, ie; emails/ project documents/ etc.
Estimate: have the appropriate estimating fields for materials/ lanour, etc. All in once place.
Invoice: be able to generate new and specific invoices as needed.
Progress Report: generate a templated progress report to avoid copy/pasting the same information over and over again.
etc.
This way, when you open a new project, it automatically has a header for pre-existing options, and when clicked, it will create a new-subfolder within the exiting project- which is then displayed from within the sidebar as part of the dropdown menu.
Ie; when a new project is created, the user is taken to a new project page, where the user can create notes, etc. Except, there will also be a new header for 'templates' which the User can select to create a new page within the project that contains information specific to that sub-module.
