Zeus spawned vehicles missing spare wheel/tracks when ACE vehicle lock is enabled #10441

Mods (complete and add to the following information):

Description: When spawning a vehicle via Zeus no spare parts such as spare wheels or tracks are added to the vehicle cargo. However when a vehicle is placed using Eden editor spare parts do show up in cargo.

Steps to reproduce: _Follow this flowchart!_

  1. Open Eden editor and place any vehicle
  2. Preview mission and check vehicle cargo. It should have a spare wheel or track, per default Ace settings.
  3. Spawn the same vehicle using Zeus and check cargo. Cargo will be empty (no spares present).

Expected behavior: This seems to be a recent issue as spares used to appear in Zeus spawned vehicles just the same as Eden spawned vehicles. In particular when playing Antistasi (where all vehicles are spawned as opposed to created via Eden editor) I noticed that all veicles have empty cargo instead of a spare wheel. This did not used to be the case.

Where did the issue occur? Editor (single player) and Antistasi single player (locally hosted).

I can't reproduce. Please provide an RPT, as was indicated in the issue template.

Apologies, please find the RPT file attached. arma3_x64_2024-10-20_11-25-50.rpt.txt

I think I have found the issue. If vehicle lock is enabled then vehicles spawned through Zeus will not receive spare parts. When I turned off vehicle lock (changed default setting from 'locked' to 'as is' and unchecked 'lock inventory') vehicles that I placed with Zeus did receive a spare wheel in the inventory.

One other thing I have noticed is that when vehicle lock is enabled it is not possible to take control of drones in the UAV interface. The 'control driver' and 'control gunner' options are greyed out. It took me a while to realise that this was because they are 'locked'. Would it be possible to exclude drones from being locked?

Make a separate GitHub issue, so it doesn't get lost.

Thanks, I have done so.
