Updated to Atom Version: 1.10.0 and the issue still persists.

@dixon13 Did you install the package from source or through package manager? If you do it from source then you must install copy-newer package manually, if through package manager it is installed automatically.

The only other thing I can see going wrong is some incompatibility with some other package.

I installed using the package manager. I'm going to do a full reinstall of the package and disable/uninstall my other packages. Will keep you guys updated as to what happens.
