I still have one additional test that I am writing, which is currently marked to skip, but otherwise I believe the branch is ready, so I figured I might as well open the pull request now. All tests are passing (with the occasional rerun) and I am not aware of any bugs or otherwise unusual behavior besides the "invalid value in sqrt" currently being addressed (cf. Slack).
