Newer songs on Deezer are downloaded in 128kbps only #27

I have noticed that songs starting from September 2021 (ish) are downloaded in 128kbps only. Older songs are downloaded as good as always. Deezer changed something? Hope we can get back to 320 kbps etc.

Encountering this issue as well; I wonder if 320 kbps files are no longer available or if the API just changed slightly.

I've read here and there about this. Apparently the Deezer API is blacking high quality tracks for free accounts/ARLs hence the issue. Not sure why this is not retroactive (and old songs are still available in HQ). So as far as I know, one needs a premium ARL to keep downloading HQ. I hope this can be worked around.
