Google Custom Search API through Java Program #160

Which API and version (e.g. Google Custom Search API)?

What format (e.g. JSON, Atom)?

What Authentation  - NIL(e.g. OAuth, OAuth 2, Android, ClientLogin)?

Java environment (e.g. Java 6, )?

External references, such as API reference guide?

Please provide any additional information below.
I have created the custom search engine as instructed in
http://code.google.com/apis/customsearch/v1/overview.html and also got the URL 
that I can use with the key.
I am in need of the sample program in Java, how to make use of the URL that I 
am given by the Google API. I am a beginner, kindly help.
