i think it's a good idea that the box automatically matches his size to the 
length of the text.

From v12 on, there is a new palette "new experimental elements".

These elements support the 2 settings
elementstyle=wordwrap (auto line break)
elementstyle=autoresize (auto resize to match line)

The setting only work for these new elements, but within the next few versions, 
we will migrate more and more old elements to the new ones which will support 
the new features like more settings, autocompletion, ...
