There is "This is a text 
element to 
place text 
anywhere."

It would be nice, if it would support "center:" (not so important) and 
"fontsize=" (more important).

I've added the improved text element to the improved elements palette.

So in v12.2 you can use this one to get all of the new settings like 
valign=center, fontsize=xx and more
