[Enhancement] On lines, use '--' to separate text above and below a line #228

Sometimes, I'd like to have more than one line of text above an arrow.
Maybe the double dash tag could be used to indicate the split in the text?

Example:
lt=->
Line one
Line two
--
Line three

This would place two lines above and one below the arrow.
Maybe only applicable if issue 227 is also applied
