After disconnecting VPN, oftentimes DNS stops working with wireless and wifi networks. #245

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Connect to office VPN
2. Use VPN connection
3. Disconnect VPN
4. Find that browsing, etc. stops working
5. Tests with DNS and ping tool reveal name lookups are broken, still trying to
use the DNS server provided by OpenVPN although connection is turned off.

Sometimes the connection is not affected, but now it's happening more and more
often (I think maybe after a recent OpenVPN update).

What mobile phone are you using? Samsung Galaxy S4

Which Android Version and stock ROM or aftermarket like cyanogenmod? Stock ROM
(no jailbreak), AT&T Firmware, Android 4.4.2

Using latest OpenVPN build from Google Store.

Forgot to mention, only way to recover (thus far) is to reboot the phone.
Disconnecting / reconnecting LTE or WiFi does not fix the DNS setting.

Yeah. That is a bug in Kitkat. You can try to toggle airplane. If that does not
help you have to reboot your phone.
