Random DNS request after connecting #249

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
This is happening on several Samsung devices I use. Every time vpn connects,
there are a dozen DNS requests sending to blinkt.de. The requests seems to be
random generated strings like gcarlhvmww or vhcrrvabidpq.

Does anyone know what are these DNS requests for ? And how can I stop it from
doing it?

Thanks!

I never seen these requests. Can you attach a log or give more details?

When you create empty VPN profile there is a setting under IP and
DNS/searchDomain which is "blinkt.de"

Yes. That is default search domain because something has be the default. There
could probably be a better default.
