I myself used codecademy before I started this course. The HTML course taught me many things that I had never knew before. https://www.codecademy.com/

I recommend codecademy as it is great for beginners. Although it does feel like it is holding your hands, it does engage you with mini projects to test your skills. 1 Month is free!

A really cute browser game to learn CSS - https://flukeout.github.io/# Code challenges to practice what (you think) you know - https://www.codewars.com/ TOP is labelled as a full fledged program, the projects look good on git hub though - https://www.theodinproject.com/ Harvard's most popular course. It's challenging and starts off working with C, but if you aren't swamped with course work already and want to learn more CompSci it's a good one. (Can also get the official certificate for resume cred) - https://online-learning.harvard.edu/course/cs50-introduction-computer-science

CSS Flexbox - To make your page responsive. Net Ninja explains simple and clear. Definitely beginner friendly! https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=net+ninja+flexbox

If you enjoy playing mini games and learn flexbox at the same time, I recommend this:

If you download the app 'Grasshopper: Learn to Code' it's a fun way to learn javascript on your phone. It's an app that has mini-games and puzzles.
