After the huge refactor/rewrite with #1214, some files and functions in the codebase became unused and no longer needed. Currently, there are still a few of those files/functions and should be cleaned up.
Here are some of such files that are no longer used:

[ ] src/hooks/useDefaultCenter.tsx
Please create a new refactor issue and reference this issue if you notice such files/functions that became unused and no longer needed due to #1214.
