Compilation error (gcc bug?)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. ./configure
2. make

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

glog-0.3.1 on Linux agustin 2.6.34-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Mon Jul 5 21:03:38 UTC 
2010 i686 AMD Turion(tm) 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-50 AuthenticAMD GNU/Linux.

GCC Version: gcc (GCC) 4.5.0 20100610 (prerelease)

I have the same problem with gcc 4.5.0 on RHLE 6

Try configure with the following:

./configure CFLAGS=-m64 CXXFLAGS=-m64

I had a similar issue on our 64-bit machine at work, once I used those 
configure options, issue went away.
