Soundflowerbed Crashes after Mountain Lions Sleeps #163

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Let my Mac Pro 5,1 go to sleep.
2. Problem only started with OSX Mountain Lion.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect sound to come out of my sound bar, routed through Soundflower so I can
control volume via the digital output. Instead Soundflowerbed simply does not
appear in the menu bar after computer goes to sleep and is woken up. Once I
restart it, it works fine.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

I upgraded from 1.5 to 1.66b to see if the problem was corrected. It has not.

Please provide any additional information below.

That's about it. It launches fine when I boot my system (Mac Pro 5,1, 6 gigs of
RAM, using optical output for audio, OSX 10.8). Sleeping kills Soundflowerbed.

This is a major problem. Could the priority set to High?

I have a similar problem though usually Sound Flower is still open, but the
output levels go down dramatically for both channels (in differing amounts). I
have 1.66 as well with Mountain Lion..
