We don't have the videos in our archive. Is there a way to track them down @mjpost ? Or perhaps authors either didn't submit or asked to take it down?

If it's not there, it wasn't submitted.

Just for the record, when we remove videos per author request, we should still have an XML tag, just for record-keeping, e.g.,

<video permission=false>

This will serve as a cue if someone sees it missing and tries to re-add it.

Actually, Nathan, I see that this is your video, so presumably you do want it there. @davidstap, can you look into this, to see if it got missed when you ingested?

@tai314159 you submitted a video for the paper right? I figured it was not showing up due to a bug.

I checked and found the following:

https://aclanthology.org/2021.emnlp-main.806/ is listed in the .xlsx file we got from Underline with ID (Page number) 2836.
2836.mp4 is not in the underline videos directory on the server.
It should only have been removed from the underline videos directory if it was copied to the hosting directory.

So either we do not have the video file, or something has gone wrong and it accidentally got deleted. @mjpost you mentioned you have a backup of the underline science videos folder at some point. Can you point me to it? Then I can check if the video is available there.

I found it in the backup, and put it in the underline_science_vids/emnlp-2021/. When you ingest this, please remove it from that directory.

Can you produce a list of all other missing videos, and find the original files for them? I can then copy them over.

Quick heads-up: I've been busy with my move to Berlin, I'll try to make some time for this on the weekend.

After some investigation, I found two issues.

I did not link some videos due to a bug. These videos should be copied from the backup, after which I can link them correctly. See here for the .tsv file, where the first column corresponds to the .mp4 names. Can you copy these over @mjpost ?
Some videos are on the server in the correct folder (anthology-files/videos/{venue}/{ID}.mp4), but are not listed on the Anthology website. See here for a .txt file with the relevant filenames. @xinru1414 since you used your script to add the video information to the XML files, do you have any idea why these videos were not added?
