ACL contact for figure permission? #3001

Hello, I would like to request permission to reuse a figure for a manuscript that I will be submitting for publication in a different journal. I could not find a point of contact or way to make a forma request. Can you please help?

The figure is from an ACL conference paper (Figure 1 in the citation below). I have no affiliation with the this paper or its authors.

I apologize if this is the wrong forum to ask how to request figure re-use permission from ACL. If anyone can help me find the right person to contact or link, it is greatly appreciated! I cannot find any online form, PoC, or discussion of this on the ACL website.

Have you contacted the authors to ask for permission? I don't know that the ACL has any independent role in granting such permission.

Thank you for the response. I had not because the publisher typically owns the copyright. I will try the author instead.

Thank you. I saw that and reviewed the ACL copyright page, but I wanted to make sure the licensing was for the actual publications, not just e.g., ACL website content.
